Interested to see where this Chinese exposure of luxury brands go.
People are waking up to the fact that the luxury they've been sold for years is fake.
I think it's time we start to change the very definition of luxury to what it truly means.
1. Friends and family
2. Health and wellness
3. Time
4. Love
Our society has been deteriorating for awhile, but let's hope that this gives us all the wake up call we need.
Rory's Masters win yesterday perfectly illustrates why you don't give up and keep pushing.
This was his 11th attempt at completing one of golf's hardest feats, the Grand Slam.
He's been trying and failing to achieve this goal for a decade.
The raw emotion that Rory displayed after winning yesterday, showed me that it's more about what it took him to get there, than the goal itself.
Sure he wanted to cement his name in the history books but the fact that he's been working towards this for 10 years non stop and with no quit, that's where the real beauty lies.
I would argue that the person who spends 10 years refining their skills and honing their craft gets more out of accomplishing said goal than the person who accomplishes said goal in year 1.
Time isn't on the said of any athlete, however in this situation time makes this historic moment in golf seem a whole lot sweeter.
The more sales calls I jump on the more I realize how important a solid discovery process is.
Here are a few areas that I currently focus on in my discovery process:
1. Understanding their unique market position
2. Learning how they currently solve problems
3. Identifying their true pain points
4. Recognizing if my solution is a fit
Sometimes the best sales outcome isn't a sale at all, but a relationship built on transparency and mutual respect.
@colingrowlancer Solid point! If you have a great offer, know the industry and your customer there isn't a limit to what you can charge or what teh customer will pay to solve their issues.
Content doesn't need to be complicated to be effective.
Here's how you can leverage a "problem-solution hook" for your serviced based business.
The formula is simple.
1. Start by clearly showing the problem
2. Generate curiosity ("How will this be solved?")
3. Deliver a satisfying before-and-after transformation
What makes this approach so powerful?
It mirrors what you do every day: solve problems for customers.
The hook taps into basic human psychology.
We're naturally curious about solutions and satisfied by transformations.
Next time you sit down to create a piece of content for your business, think about this:
What problem does my business solve, and how can I creatively show the satisfying transformation my ideal customer experiences?
