NEW: Brendan Sorsby's agent, Ron Slavin, claims Cincinnati knew about the gambling addiction and took no action:
āIf anybody should be questioned or catching heat, it should be Cincinnati. Because they knew for two years and never said anything or didnāt do anything about it. Thatās the part of the story that gets lost.ā

More people were more upset about Brendan Sorsby betting on games he didnāt play in than an Alabama player hiding a murder weapon, a Baylor basketball player murdering a teammate, Georgia players driving reckless and killing staff members. Integrity schmegrity. Yāall donāt care
āUniversities should not field players who have bet on their own teamās games in college athleticsā
Thereās only one school in this conference that has done so, and that school is not named Texas Tech š¤
If only the county cared about human trafficking, congress members insider trading, term limits, and taxation as much as they care about the Sorsby situation.
Texas had a football player who was caught gambling get reinstated under the condition that he gave his winnings to charity. Georgia has had 8 players arrested in the last year.
No torches and pitchforks were distributed until it was Texas Tech.
I do think itās extremely ironic that Georgia is one of the schools who has vowed to not schedule Texas Tech.
Maybe other programs around the country should do that to Georgia until they go one (1) singular offseason without numerous arrests.
What wild 24 hours. Here are 3⣠misconceptions/misinformation I'm seeing regarding the Brendan Sorsby case:
1. He bet on games he played in.
He did NOT bet on any games he suited up for.
While not great he bet on games while redshirting, he never bet on a game he suit up in.
2. The Judge in this case is from Lubbock.
Ken Curry is a retired Tarrant County (Fort Worth) judge that graduated from Houston and UT-Arlington. He is currently eligible to practice law and his practice is listed in Colleyville, TX (over 300 miles from Lubbock).
3. Texas Tech did something wrong.
He made all of his bets before taking a snap at Texas Tech. Cincinnati was alerted to his potential gambling activity (per ESPN).
Texas Tech declared him ineligible and will now follow the temporary injunction (like the rest of the NCAA).
The only Big 12 AD this soft has to be Utah. As for the SEC ADs⦠nobody cares. The SEC gets biased, favorable rulings every year of their existence. The ONE time another conference gets away with something ridiculous now they want to posture up. GTFO š¤£š¤£š¤£
Screw the SEC whiners.
I don't like that Sorsby is going to play, but my goodness, if there's someone who needs to look in the mirror here, it's the UGA AD. Yikes.
If Brendan Sorsby played for UT, OU or UGA heād be getting an award for battling adversity & being oh so resilient right now. Miss us with your bleeding heart, brand new to anything regarding morality garbage.
Baylor had 250+ cases of sexual assault reported of local women and the local Waco PD helped them cover it up but there were so many cases that it took the NCAA too long to investigate it that they had ZERO NCAA punishment. But THIS is where Georgiaās AD draws the line
Why is everyone hating on Texas Tech Football now??? Because they figured it out in this new era of CFB??
No one was saying anything about what was going on in the SEC pre NIL. And we all know certain programs were throwing bags around & winning chips pre nil. It's alot of hate & some scared as hell mixed in for somešš. I love this scared money don't make money era of CFB.
