@publix if I have to miss a day of work because I had my wisdom teeth removed is that an excused absence? I had a doctor's note for 3 days but the pain has gone on for a 4th day. Can I be written up for a medical issue?

@publix honestly I'm furious that I had to put myself and others in danger because I couldn't get the manager to reassure me that I wouldn't get in trouble for missing a day of work. From my view I'm a pawn to be exploited and abused for the sake of the manager's bottom dollar.

@Publix He told me it was an unexcused absence and I could be fired. He made me choose between being fired or showing up to my place of work high on pain pills. No employee should have too choose that or stress about something like that. 2/2
