Very happy to introduce a preprint @Simon_Gregg and I co-authored about the importance of continuous magnitudes to early math education. Feel free to share!

As per the advice of @NumCog I'm celebrating a small victory: I am so proud of my students giving excellent presentations today about studies they designed rand and analyze by themselves. Many said "I didn't had to do the stat analysis but I was curious so I did!"! made my week
My grad class is running experiments they built in #opensesam on each other. Some of the results are super exciting!
it's great that they can use free tools like @cogscinl opensesame and @JASPStats!
A spider took over my office this morning. I called a maintenance guy to save me. He looked for the spider and asked if it was big. I said YES. when he finally found it he said he was small... for a moment he couldn't find him and I said I need a new office
Please don't confuse Arabic Numerals (pic👇) with Hindu-Arabic numerals (123...) most of us use every day. You are confusing people (like some of my students) who actually know what Arabic numbers are 🤓
@rebeccammerkley What worked really well for me (becasue they were a competitive bunch) was to split a paper between groups and ask each group to write two questions (in class). Then they need to ask the question and give points to the other groups. It was great! everyone were engaged!
Hi @JASPStats ! is there an easy way to calculate Z-scores per condition and per participant in JASP using filters, when each raw is a single trial of a subject? Thanks!
Developing an online course for computer applications in psych and edu research. Including @JASPStats@jamovistats@OSFramework@cogscinl 's open sesame and even google forms app. it's difficult! and in Hebrew...
Hopefully it would go well...
