@VernThompson Don't rewrite history. Love was horrible for the Cavs, and the team went on a tear when they justifiably stopped putting him on the floor. The Cavs would have been happy to keep him anyway, but he asked to be bought out.
@TheCavsJack Don't try to rewrite history. Kevin Love was fucking awful to the point of being unplayable for the Cavs this year. The Cavs would have been happy to keep him, be he asked to be bought out.
#Cavs making a change to starting lineup tonight against the Knicks. They are inserting Caris LeVert into the lineup alongside Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen
@iStayWinning711 That's why the Bird rights were important for the Mavs - not for a sign and trade, but because if they want to keep him, and can entice him with far more money than he can get anywhere else, in likely to be Kyrie's last big NBA contract.
@iStayWinning711 It's extremely complicated, for any GM, and trades with multiple sign and trades are extremely rare.
Kyrie's Bird rights are only maxed out for five years if he remains with the Mavs - it costs him a year to be sign and traded. And Dallas has to want those contracts back.
