TLS has two jobs: protect traffic and authenticate the endpoint. An encrypted connection does not prove the website is honest. A valid identity can still make false claims.
A 60/40 portfolio can drift to 66.7/33.3 if stocks go from $6k to $8k while bonds stay at $4k. Illustrative values, own arithmetic. Rebalancing is about the chosen risk mix. General education, not investment advice.
Most domestic recycling efforts are empirically retarded, counterproductive, and require you don't value your time. Their real function is to fill the God-shaped hole, sized for penance, prayer, and sacrifice, in people's souls. https://t.co/T77DAx1eve
How could @SpaceX deploy Starlink Mobile's proposed low-band terrestrial layer?
This engineering video explores fixed sites, indoor femtocells, satellite-backed ground cells and vehicle-mounted relays. These are scenarios, not a confirmed SpaceX product roadmap. Grain's October 8, 2026 spectrum sale remains subject to FCC approval and closing conditions. SpaceX's hybrid-network goal is announced; a detailed low-band femtocell or car-radio rollout has not been established by the sources reviewed here.
The technical distinction is access versus backhaul versus the mobile core. A phone talking to an indoor cellular radio is not the same as a phone talking directly to a satellite. A Starlink terminal providing a ground radio's backhaul is a third path. Adding a terminal to a car also does not automatically turn it into a public cellular base station.
We explain paired spectrum, frequency reuse, secure node onboarding, interference, timing, location, backhaul failure, moving-cell handovers and device compatibility. Historical LTE femtocell architecture and 3GPP relay work are engineering precedents, not SpaceX specifications. The deployment sequence and long-run assessment are explicitly analysis. Concept animation, not evidence of deployed hardware. No promises of universal indoor service, final prices or measured speeds. General education, not investment advice.
Starlink Mobile's new story is a hybrid network: satellites for reach, and a proposed low-band terrestrial layer for a different coverage problem.
On October 8, Grain Management announced an agreement to sell its nationwide 800 MHz spectrum portfolio to @SpaceX , pending FCC approval and closing conditions. The portfolio includes up to 14 MHz of paired spectrum, not 800 MHz of bandwidth. Low band may help indoor coverage, but it does not prove satellite broadband works in every building.
Separately, the FCC authorized a new 15,000-satellite D2D constellation with conditions. Authorized does not mean already deployed. Real phone compatibility, infrastructure and measured performance will decide what customers actually get.
This explainer separates the announcement from the engineering and the unknowns. Concept visuals, not field evidence. Research current October 8, 2026. General education, not investment advice.
@elonmusk@chamath Starlink Mobile will be an incredible distribution platform for Grok and Grok Bot. SpaceX should simply bundle Starlink Mobile, Starlink broadband, Grok, and Grok Bot together and sell it as a package. It would be amazing!
OpenAI fired me last week, along with two of my safety colleagues. I was given one reason: that I accessed an executive's email. I want to say this plainly, because too many of OpenAI’s history is smoke and mirrors when people disappear:
Our severe weather testing and validation teams worked hard, often far from home.
We monitored real-time weather radar and positioned our fleet in the biggest storms we could find, 24/7, to test our vehicle can operate safely in various conditions.
Thank you to the severe weather and validation team for your hard work.

A server answering a request is not the same as a server working correctly. Health checks can test response time, expected HTTP status and expected response content.
@ImJasonDunn Starmind won’t deorbit; instead, it will be sent into orbit around the Sun, where it will live for thousands of years, or even millions, at the end of its life, rather than burning up in Earth’s atmosphere during reentry.
