Year 6 have spent the past few weeks learning the key principles of building games, and then put their creativity to work by designing their own games.
Pupils use Looks blocks (change colour effect), Control blocks (forever loop), and Motion blocks (move or turn) to create a simple star animation that changes colour and moves across the screen.
Year 5/6 have been learning coding with Scratch! They created a fun “Catch the Apple” game, using x and y coordinates to move sprites, loops to keep the game running, and variables to track scores.
The children @RhiwbeinaPrm had an awesome time today participating in our drone workshop. 😃 They showcased excellent math, coding, and problem-solving skills. 🚁✨
It hasn’t been for hours on end.
Get them to try just 10 minutes a day, and you’ll be surprised at the effect it has 😀.
It’s one thing our students who get incredible results have in common.
We recently saw this with our student George; the results were incredible.
#maths
Small. Achievable. Habits.
To improve your child's math skills, one of the most
powerful things you can do is to develop small, achievable, and consistent habits during home learning.
A little bit of work at the same time each day pays dividends & prevents frustration.
The children had a fantastic time at todays holiday camp 😀 the exciting news is we’ve added more dates.. click the link below to check them out 👇
