@bigbluetractor@AllisonPearson@Simon_Gleaden No, they are still the baby’s mother/mum. Because no-one is doing this out of anything other than sheer desperation - otherwise you’d have a baby. It would be much easier.
@DrCalumMiller So which ones Calum. Go on, elaborate.
This mysterious cohort of women who choose to go through a pregnancy, abort at term, then face having to birth their baby without medical care?
Anyone who chooses that needs help, not prosecution.
@bigbluetractor@AllisonPearson@Simon_Gleaden Not many women choose to abort a healthy near-term baby, because that would leave you in the position of having suffered all the downsides of pregnancy and still needing to give birth.
Any woman that does is clearly in desperate situation, and needs help, not sanction.
@DrCalumMiller As a medical doctor, you should really know better than resorting to hyperbole.
One can only imagine that the branch of medicine that you practice is theory, rather than real world medicine.
If only everyone was a middle-class as you, eh?!
@Fr12ee44Spewxh@SamanthaTaghoy@jemmm85517813 You honestly think that there’s this cohort of women thinking “Oh well, I have put myself through the physiological and emotional stress of carrying a baby for 39 weeks, but I would abort it today if only there wasn’t a risk of criminal sanction”?
@SamanthaTaghoy Do you honestly think that there’s this cohort of women thinking “Oh well, I have put myself through the physiological and emotional stress of carrying a baby for 36 weeks, but I would abort it today if only there wasn’t a risk of criminal sanction”?
@Martina Yes it would Martina.
