Planning your Thanksgiving long weekend in Brampton? Thanksgiving is Monday, October 12, 2026. Most City offices, including City Hall, will be closed for the holiday. Here’s what to know before you head out:

🚒 Essential and critical services will continue as usual.
🌲 Parks and most recreational trails remain open year-round.
⚽ Select recreation centres will have modified holiday hours over the long weekend. Registered programs will not run and splash pads will close for the season as of October 12.
📖 All @BramptonLibrary branches will be closed for the holiday.
🐾 Brampton Animal Services will be closed, with officers continuing patrols and emergency response.
🚍 @BramptonTransit will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule.
