Tragic and infuriating: 18-year-old British student Henry Nowak was walking home after a night out in Southampton when he was brutally stabbed five times by 23-year-old Vickrum Digwa, a Sikh man carrying a large dagger.

Digwa then lied to police, claiming he was the victim of a racist attack. When officers arrived, instead of helping the young Englishman bleeding out on the ground and repeatedly begging ‘I’ve been stabbed’ and ‘I can’t breathe,’ they handcuffed him and treated him as the suspect.

All because they were more concerned with not offending someone or being accused of racism than saving a British life.
