The frustration is real and you're definitely not alone in this. The platform keeps changing the rules without telling anyone and small accounts always feel it the hardest. The drafts issue sounds like it could be a shadow restriction, sometimes it happens after posting too frequently or using certain hashtags flagged by the algorithm. Have you tried clearing the app cache or switching to a scheduled posting tool instead of posting directly? Sometimes going through a third party bypasses whatever flag they've put on the account.

This is such a real struggle and most people don't talk about it. The algorithm basically penalizes you for having a life outside the app. What's worked for me is batching engagement, spending 20-30 mins actively commenting on other people's posts before you post your own.
