I posted yesterday that I wanted to talk to Dr. Finch about a project I had in mind for mapping the universe but never sent the message I typed out 😣 . I was reminded of this when Dr. Han challenged my Java 2 class to see if we could come up with the best concept to help students find their way to class on their first day.

Then today I read Ms. Gladys Mae West just passed aswell ☹️ . 2 giants that inspired me and gave me confidence.

Now with the help of the Holy Spirit and Google I’ve been building https://t.co/RvwaV5GQye a project for a 3D cursor that points to locations in 3d space using Ephemeris data on a Star chart with distant planets and stars, and coordinates on the x, y, and z in reference to gyroscopes. The projected distances and directions are displayed when users select a desired destination, on a cellphone, Meta-AR , or the Apple Vision Pro.

I want to bring wisdom I’ve been learning about cosmology from different ethnicities to this project. It’s bitter sweet.
