Sermon prepping this morning and came across a statement that’s really causing me pause.
“Obedience is an attitude before it’s an action. It’s the yes before we even know what God is asking.”
Lord I’m praying I can hand you my full trust. Not just in what I understand 🙏🏻
@DNVR_Nuggets Last year CB was on the short list for MIP. Does this year’s roster have anyone who could be in consideration other than (in my opinion) Jamal? What would it realistically take in your eyes to see him there?
@DNVR_Nuggets Hate to say it, but is Jokic the best “you should stay in the NBA instead of going home” pitch we have? I feel like he’s more likely to be like, “I wish I could go to brother.” 😅
@TheDunkCentral For me it’s not that he’s shooting too many fts. It’s the way he gets them. He’s actually so shifty and yet when he doesn’t lose his guy he falls to the ground (weak). And then the refs reward it in a way they don’t other players.
@johnrivers131 Last year they blew a 20 point lead at home to beat the Wolves with a banged up Murray. This year they ran out of gas having only 3-4 playable guys at the end. The window is not closed, we just need a GM to take this roster construction seriously.
@DNVR_Nuggets I thought the Clippers got under the Nuggets skin with their hand checking, and Kawhi/ Powell pushing off and not getting offensive calls.
Granted, they were still right there and that was a lost opportunity, but I think the refs threw some of our guys off their game mentally.
@DNVR_Nuggets I appreciate this. It’s him saying that Coach and GM obviously failed so firing was the right move, but that failure is ultimately on him. He should have been more hands on at times. This is a mature leader’s reflection.
@CGBBURNER Gordon had the 3 best dunks of the contest, but they got the same scores (50) as Lavine. Yes AG ran out of ideas at the end, but the crime was not letting his dunks set that year’s standard of 50 and giving Lavine some 47-49s.
@zillennialelder It wasn’t that you gave Jesus credit, it was that you chose to go at someone who was sharing the freeing power of the Gospel. I have no idea how the rest of the interview went, but I saw nothing wrong with Russel’s comments in that clip. He was gentle and considerate.
@ClayTravis@Allstate Is he talking about the divisiveness that caused the attack? It sounds like people are hearing it as divisiveness over the attack.
