There are still good names to be found in godaddy closeout auctions, don't get caught up in their valuations. Search daily and catch a good one. I have sold hundreds of names for 2k plus that I paid less than $50 for. It's not as easy as when I started (over 10 yrs ago) but I still pick some up there for a great price
@JohnnyPic51@zeus_store7 .coms sell always, .ai is popular now but I wouldn't get into any other than .com. check on actual sales in the others..they are few and far between
@LawrenceLepard@maneco1964 Didnt he fail in the last bubble 2000ish? But you are sure he is 100% correct in this bubble? maybe he is, who knows? I like listening to him. But the smartest human ever? really?
@TonyNames .com is the choice unless you want to lose traffic. Sure .ai can be a valuable extension but it's not the top. So many .whatevers get attention but big brands almost always go for the .com when they have the $ for it
With the average reading/writing/spelling grade level (in the USA) being 4th grade, how many people could actually read, remember, and find that name? Not saying is bad, it's great, but is a tough one as a brand. @MichaelCyger I learned this kind of research from you & training program, surprised by your response
@MichaelCyger Keep hand regging "premium names"!? Really? It kills me how many hand regged garbage names gets hundreds or more replies that 50K or 100K isnt enough. The trend chasing/lottery ticket "domainers" are truly lost.
No biz branding use for #1 - the average reading/spelling grade level in the USA is 4th grade. So, #2 is not able to be remembered, spelled, or typed into a browser by most-never mind for those with other first languages. Dont believe me on the 4th grade average reading level, do a little research and it will help you better understand what makes a good brandable domain.
@DomainName_T Stop hand regging names and chasing trends. GoDaddy closeouts are where you can make money. Study what sells on SquadHelp and BrandBucket. You can source good brandables on GD closeouts for $50 and resell for $1500 to $5K. Thats where the $ is made.
I dont know, SH has been pretty good for me in the $1200 to $3K brandables - ones they accepted. Had quite a few sales over the last 3 or 4 years. They have been much better than AfterNic or Sedo, at least for me. BrandBucket has been better in the $2.5 to $10K sales but lower volume. I wouldnt give up on SH, but just my opinion & experience. Wish you the best of luck
@WallStreetSilv The 2 wealthiest people I know are 1. a hedge fund manager 2. a plumber (started small, now employs 50 people) - they have about the same income. The plumber is far happier and lives a far less stressful life.
@cultra .com will be where 99% of average domain investors will find success. You know that is true, so you're post is very misleading to most new and lower $ investors.
