When the announcer for the #OregonDucks continues to say the Oregon State team and Washington when he is talking about the Ducks 🦆 we should be concerned! @oregonfootball
Let's choose to be women who extend grace and forgiveness...
Because we know how desperately we need grace ourselves.
Because we know how freely the Lord has forgiven us.
Because we don’t want to walk around with bitterness, resentment, and anger polluting our hearts.
Is your Christmas a difficult one? Then take heart. God is still in his temple, still on his throne, still in control. And he still makes princes out of prisoners, counselors out of captives, Sundays out of Fridays and brings beauty out of Bethlehems. https://t.co/cde9T44SXZ
Instead of getting derailed by darkness, dismantled by defeat, or drowned out by doubt … let’s turn on the light of God’s Truth.

I often find myself suggesting to God all the ways He could surely fix my circumstances. But I’m learning that God loves me too much to do things my way.
His plan is always better even if I can’t understand or see it clearly as it’s unfolding.

The thing about a season of loss is that the grief is cumulative. Convoluted. Sometimes when tears catch me off guard, I don’t know exactly which one I’m crying over. All of them I suppose. But all of them manage to leave me standing at the foot of my brother, Wayne’s, grave who just made a lot of things so funny, they were bearable.
Anyway, not trying to get sympathy. I’m well attended to and many people have suffered much worse. God also supplies endless joys. I guess I’m just trying to say, we don’t always have to know exactly what we’re grieving to grieve. Sometimes it’s just that we grieve another day without seeing the glorious, joyous face of Jesus who will dry our tears
and end our sorrows
and right every wrong
and destroy death forevermore.
And we shall feast like we have never in our lives known a whit of suffering.
