Had to share this wonderful experience with @McDonalds yesterday. Pulled up in the drivethru to get happy meals for kids before dropping them off for a date, waited approximately an epoch to get to the speaker before being trapped in.

We pull forward and I hand her the $20 bill, and when she hands back the 17 cents I (goodnaturedly) joke and ask if she wanted to keep that for all her trouble, and she looked at me like I was the most uninteresting human she'd ever laid eyes on.
