Gram would be upset if we reliving those dark times at the end. So, here's to remembering all the fun, bright, laughter filled, joyous times. She loved each and every one of her family and friends, and we are truly blessed she was a part of our lives for as long as she was.

1 year ago today, mom called to say Gram had passed peacefully. It's still difficult to grasp and remember that she's not around. The holidays, birthdays, and trips home come and go, and I still think she's going to walk through the door, but she doesn't.
