This is Magpul's 6.8x51mm magazine for the Sig Spear NGSW rifle selected by the army. The US Army conducted a market survey for commercial 6.8 and 7.62 NATO magazines for the Spear in February of 2023. This was more than likely Magpul's offering to the Army after the survey.
@KrisVectors In all seriousness I'm an engineering student and almost always swamped with work, I can't find the time. There have been weeks if not months I've gone without posting on X because the work load was killing me.
Want your recommendations for cqb instructors, groups or videos. These instructors, groups must be of people u think conduct cqb the right way. No Matt Pranka or Forward Observations!!!!!!!
@BurnerMcneil Have you every talked with a swat officer or team and ask why they have camo? If they can't explain, they probably shouldn't have camo, but their response should also make sense if they do have one.
Which North East department is issuing this camo to their swat team? Quite sure this pattern is from Kuiu which is a hunting brand.

@DanOvercast Not interested in getting training because I don't have a team or the time to dedicate to it. Only wanted to see who everyone got their cqb info from.
New Zealand SAS rifle from LMT. Back in 2016 LMT won New Zealand's conttract for a new service rifle with the LMT MARS 16". The special forces also received new rifles from LMT, the rifle has a 14.5" barrel with a full length handguard, Surefire CT Warcomp and the enhanced BCG.
Federal announced that they signed an agreement with the US Army to accelerated high performance ammo by allowing the Army to use its PEAK ALLOY case technology. Below is a video of Bill Geissele shooting 5.56 with PEAK Alloy cases.
SOCOM has issued a new requirement for upper receivers that can withstand Hyper Velocity ammo (M855A1+ : M855A1 at 82k psi). The URG will be classified as the HICAR- Hypervelocity Improved Capability Assault Rifle.
@RealRedfly Iβve talked with Cinco and other unit guys, we basically agree on most things in cqb and shooting. Just search for my previous post and see the track record.
@2IDdoc Canβt comment on this specific statement because heβs the only guy on the internet thatβs on video shooting peak alloy 5.56. There isnβt anyone to fact check his claims here or replicate it.
@RealRedfly Bro your trying to preach the gospel to someone in the same camp as you. I just wanted to see what other guys are doing. Despite having no tactical experience, common sense and critical thinking filters out the GBRS, Kinetic Concepts and Project Geckos of the world.
@Libertarian1777 Geissele has a contract with the Army to develop barrels using GNB200 which is a super alloy. KAC is also using ARMAD for the barrels in the KS1, KS2 and KS3. Seekins is using GNB200 and gain twist to increase barrel life. This is a systems approach to a problem.
@sovereign1914 Peak Alloy 5.56 cases aren't commercially available. Just buy NAS3 cases and load your own ammo or buy factory ammo from badlands or Blackarc.
@RossElderWrites Respectfully, I disagree. A lot of teams that use camo have no need for it but those that do have it and the teams that realize that they have no use case revert to green, blue, black or grey.
Looks like the full size 590M is making its way to the π¬π§ Army. OP claims its designated as the L351A1 and intended for C-sUAS. Looking to confirm the designation.
