They're trying to fire 30,000 people from the Social Security Administration and force everyone online. Many older people need on site workers to fill out forms and navigate the system, they can't do things electronically without help. The cruelty to the elderly breaks my heart
COVID was an opportunity to adapt & be a more inclusive society. We could have learned about airborne spread & adopted clean air. Improved ventilation. Made more outdoor spaces. Normalized masking.
Instead we’ve politicized infection control & made society less safe for everyone
Pfizer’s cancer drug commercial was beautiful, but their breast cancer drug Ibrance costs $10k per month and their prostate cancer drug Xtandi costs $22k per month.
Beautiful commercials don’t change the fact that 42% of cancer patients exhaust their life savings in 2 years.
A friend of mine has skin cancer and was about to start a clinical trial at MD Anderson after his other treatments did not work.
Trump's decision to temporarily halt funding for medical research also applies to clinical trials.
His treatment is now canceled.
They’ve also frozen all civil rights cases at the Justice Department, which is responsible for handling ADA complaints.
He explains that we’re moving to a “merit based” society… which is a fancy way of saying disabled and marginalized people not welcome.

Anytime I advocate for covid mitigations - people assume I want to lock them in their homes forever
We could drastically limit covid transmission with the following:
- Masks in healthcare
- Clean air in public spaces
- Free vaccines, tests & respirators
- Paid time off
The 4B movement is gaining momentum in the US, women are declaring a sex strike nationwide. We also encourage you all to ghost MAGA men and encourage those around you to cease direct communication with them.
Trauma survivors are forever being told we have to "reach out" for support & resources-- by a culture that loves to shame or condescend to people who can't do things on their own.
Don't be gaslit. You're not weird for having mixed or negative feelings about "reaching out."
Outreach only works on people who make decisions through self-reflection and analysis. It does not work on people who make decisions primarily based on what the people around them will think of them.
You gotta speak their language. It’s time to get coldly, calculatingly mean.
Genuinely curious what's going to happen when a society that buys everything from Amazon, Walmart, and Temu realizes what a 60% tariff on Chinese goods looks like.
By the way. People have been sounding the alarm on this: DeJoy, the postmaster is a Trump donor who was aiding Trump in the count LAST ELECTION.
Biden never worked to replace him.
