@ChrisWickNews Yup you scared it away. It wasn’t like science. It wasn’t like every awards winning epidemiologist who told the New York Times and CNN that it’s not something sustainable because of how difficult it is to spread. It was you. All you. All your amazing rants! Wahoo!
@ScriptTrooper Brain dead? Star Wars made 1 billion in profit from merchandise last year. Then there’s revenue from Disney plus. Even Burger King and Coke and 8 others paid millions to offer Mandalorian merch. Disney is STILL making billions a year on Star Wars even if the movie isn’t a hit.
@aliusdev2025@BORReport The real wjnner is obsession which not only got an a- Cinescore but has young audiences going back and taking their friends. That won’t happen for backrooms
@aliusdev2025@BORReport This may be indicative of a new round of horror movies but will audiences become choosier and less likely to go to them when they complain they weren’t worth the money? Too soon to tell. Careful saying it’s ushering in a trend. Trends are quick to change
@WCVB Sell this for one dollar to a pawn shop in retribution for FIFA charging several hundred dollars for most tickets and then being so shady about tickets. Just a terrible terrible experience.
@NateSilver538 Just terrible the way they tried to over-inflate interest by releasing small amounts of tickets but now there are so many for mist games and prices still so high. They’ve also turned off huge number of fans. Just criminal.
@familyinvestX@BostonGlobe The globe was correct. The outrageous prices for tix led to a false demand. Ticket agencies bought most of them but now there are likely thousands of tix per game on secondary markets and prices are so high no one is buying.
@BostonGlobe This was FIFA disaster. There are thousands of tickets for almost every game still at ticket agencies. By being sneaky & releasing tix at elevated prices they instead turned off most casual fans & enthusiastic fans. Plus it’s hundreds to park & Boston up-charged train. Terrible
@BostonGlobe There are a thousand seats listed on StubHub for some of the games at foxboro & more on official World Cup marketplace. There is so little demand because they charged so much that prices are set to plummet & so many people with tickets can’t sell them even at the purchased price
@EvanJSantiago Wow. A horror movie (where the latest show is always where young folks go vs a family movie at 10 pm on a school night. At least try dude. By your logic the low budget movie won the weekend. Right? Right?
@Bodhi_Tweets It’s audience. Kids & teens don’t like or watch Andor. It’s okay you like Andor. And it’s okay women like Rey. And it’s okay kids like JarJar. What many older men forget is Star Wars according to both Lucas & Abrams “is for kids.” So the A Cinescore for kids/teens is huge
@Bennimak1 You’ll get Star Wars movies for decades more & the angry misogynistic men will whine & Disney will laugh because all the people complaining hate Star Wars. Lucas warned you: Star Wars is for kids. Not adults. kids love Rey. And baby yoda. Just like they loved Ewoks and JarJar.
@Bennimak1 Are you dense? Star Wars made one BILLION dollars last year in merchandise alone. There movies can literally lose 500 & Disney makes cash from parents buying figures & stuffed animals & notebooks & costumes. Baby Yoda will make even more this summer & halloween & Christmas.
