Never been a massive fan of pure Merlot unless from Bordeaux, Napa or Bolgheri but this @degrendelwines 2017 Merlot shows polished elegance, an intriguing reductive saline cassis, salty liquorice, black cherry and smokey charcoal ember nuances. A very smart effort. 92/100 GSMW
