Production Managers from all 14 KTDA-managed orthodox factories convened at Kionyo Tea Factory for a focused capacity-building session aimed at aligning practices with evolving global market demands.
This initiative is part of positioning KTDA’s orthodox teas for greater competitiveness in global markets and delivering increased value and returns to farmers.
The engagement centred on standardising orthodox tea processing across factories, addressing emerging international concerns, and fostering knowledge sharing through peer learning and product evaluation. The exercise also supports KTDA’s diversification strategy by strengthening quality, enhancing consistency, and driving continuous improvement.
