@djkal91@new_era72 Seahawks were one Marshawn Lynch run away from ending the Pats dynasty and starting one of their own.
Also they’ve won 2 and been to 3 since 2014. Pretty awesome stuff, and it was done organically
I think you believe I’m trying to diminish what the Seahawks have done & compare it to what the Rams have done. I’m not trying to do that. Was just offering my opinion on it all. I think Seahawks have been a S tier organization for several years truly earning their flowers organically. They’re a proactive organization rather than reactive.
The Rams do it the “easy” way, but I personally believe there’s nothing wrong with that even if it is less meaningful. I’m actually surprised more teams don’t do it.
I agree it’s not necessarily a skill but it’s also the obvious thing to do imo. Also, I think the Rams have done well drafting too. Puka is an example. And I believe pairing Ty Simpson with Kliff for his development will pay dividends.
I do think what John has done is more admirable though.
@new_era72 It’s definitely more impressive to build a team from guys you draft and develop, but you also can’t discredit the other route.
It’s led to two Super Bowl appearances and a ring.
@lilbrianazs@MySportsUpdate@AdamSchefter Verse is not even close to the player that Garrett was as a rookie and especially now.
And that isn’t a diss to Verse, just how it is.
@wstgoat7 Being a bitter person isn’t hurting anyone but yourself.
Succeeding at what you’ve dedicated your life to warrants emotion. A good upbringing doesn’t change that.
