Delighted @vicrayner, our Chair and CEO of @NCFCareForum is a part of this event, aimed at inspiring current and future female leaders, providing a system of support, and awarding the sheer excellence of those who are working hard to change and shape a positive future for women.
With #SocialCare providers facing escalating costs, people who need care will suffer if the government repeats funding mistakes of the past.
@blimeysimon explains the key factors behind this worrying trend. Learn more in our latest #SocialCare360 review: https://t.co/IvDz0Msmfy
We believe the voices of those who rely on #socialcare should be heard. Some of Brandon’s Adventurers will join thousands of other people outside Parliament to highlight the value of social care and the difference it makes in people’s lives #ProvidersUnite

Very good to hear @vicrayner speak of the More than a Provider collaborative as a great eg of support providers looking beyond responding to tenders, finding out what’s important to local people & partnering with community groups & organisations to make things happen #Ncasc24
Key findings from our provider survey show that without immediate government intervention:
• 73% will have to refuse new care packages from local authorities or the NHS
• 57% will hand back existing contracts to local authorities or the NHS
• 77% will have to draw on reserves
VODG and many of our members were early signatories to this letter to the Chancellor following #Budget2024.
This response is extremely disappointing given the breadth of concern and the significant impact we know the increases in NICs will have on frontline care and support.
On the final day of #SafeguardingAdultsWeek, we're inviting organisations everywhere to reflect on their #safeguarding practices.
What have been your key challenges in safeguarding adults? What work do we still have to do and how can we continue to extend our learning?
It’s day four of #SafeguardingAdultsWeek and @AnnCraftTrust are discussing criminal exploitation of adults.
Criminal exploitation is the deliberate abuse of power and control over another person. It is taking advantage of another person or situation for criminal purposes or personal gain. #SafeguardingAdultsWeek
Criminal exploitation could also include other forms of harm and abuse such as modern slavery, sexual exploitation or cuckooing. #SafeguardingAdultsWeek #SAW2024
