@Simon_Ingari Here’s the thing though. Someone very well might have a good reason for being late to an interview, but for the hiring manager, they have to make deductions based on what they know. The known fact is candidate was late. The explanation is coming from a person you don’t know yet.
@Brandon57610196@MyHockeyDude@JoyOnBroad Again, you’re right. I inferred incorrectly that you think things that are “pathetic” and “fucking lame” wouldn’t be fun. I should just take the L in the presence of a positive guy who knows what he’s talking about and I will. I concede.
@Brandon57610196@MyHockeyDude@JoyOnBroad Really? From the outside it looks like it would be a lot of fun playing for a Stanley cup. Thanks for setting me straight. Solid take.
@Brandon57610196@MyHockeyDude@JoyOnBroad Why close to zero impact? Deadlines acquisitions can be the difference between winning and losing. Especially a guy who wins draws and still has some offensive ability.
@charlieo_conn Yeah, this is an overpay in every sense, but one I think is still the right move. They have a lot of assets to get the picks back. And the gamble is that by year three. He lives up to the contract and the rising cap doesn’t make it a poison pill. It’s risky, but worth it.
@Bennett_CK If it goes through, they’ll move Risto and one or two wingers. Don’t sweat the cap right now. We’ll have five of our top six locked up with plenty of room as the cap goes up. Tippet and Risto = over $12mil
@billmeltzer If they don’t match, no one will believe them ever again, so I think they will. It’s still good business to try. If we don’t get it, we lost nothing.
@Sec216Row6@jasonmyrt I know you asked Jason, but probably not. They would just take the four first rounders as compensation. Zegras will play the wing most likely.
