@JorgeCastilloPr Same, got burned with Compose early but I'm sure it's much better now. Haven't really found a justification to move away from Views though
This is purely speculation, but I wonder if this is what the @SwingVisionApp team is using to help bring their app to Android. In their video from about a year ago they also mentioned that Google was working on video capture improvements. Guessing that's with CameraX lib
We are on the 5th generation of Google Tensor and the SDK is still in experimental status....

I'm going to have to revisit Compose. The 2 big reasons for me not using Compose were:
- Performance was nowhere close to views
- API is unstable/inconsistent (changes too often) for me to rely on it in an production environment.
- Architectural fit with a fragments based app.
You told us performance is one of your biggest concerns with Compose, and we listened!
In the Jetpack Compose December '25 release we're bringing you improved runtime performance ποΈ β https://t.co/meFNujp6Ok

@bmfshow This should probably be a framework provided by Meta or game engines like Unity. Easy plug in solution for all apps to integrate. Especially with how popular the Quest is with children.
@rmeestudios Square is easily the best especially when your cash flow is low. As you grow, I'd recommend something like Clover. It requires a subscription but comes with a lot of features you'd have to pay for on Square anyway.
Don't be afraid to factor Square's fees in your pricing.
