“The Catholic position on matters of ‘Zionism,’ to which I fully subscribe, is as follows: all forms of antisemitism are to be unequivocally condemned; the state of Israel has a right to exist; but the modern nation of Israel does not represent the fulfillment of Biblical prophecies and hence does not stand beyond criticism.”

Lent is a sacred season given by God for the conversion of our souls. It is not enough to pray and fast externally, we must also examine our conscience sincerely and recognize the sins that separate us from God.
Many of these sins have become common and even accepted in the world today. Yet, according to the teachings of the Church, especially as explained in the Baltimore Catechism, sin is an offense against God, who is infinitely good and worthy of all our love.
We must not fall into despair, thinking God will not forgive us, nor into presumption, thinking we can sin without consequence. Both are dangerous for the soul.
The Sacrament of Confession is a great mercy given by Our Lord. No matter how grave our sins may be, if we confess them with true contrition, God forgives and restores our soul to grace.
Let this Lent be the time we return fully to God, not tomorrow, not later, but now.

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen
Give me the grace to make a sincere confession, to amend my life, and to avoid the occasions of sin. Strengthen me to carry my cross and follow Thee faithfully.
Amen.

@realJennaEllis@CarriePrejean1 They actually make us take a very extensive class before converting. Its takes almost a year to complete, so the whole “you converted 5 mins ago” has zero basis in reality.
Dispensationalist theology, a modern invention that ties God’s promises to a future earthly kingdom and geopolitical state, has gained a powerful foothold in American Christianity with deadly consequences, one of which we are seeing in Gaza. Dispinsationalism is a heretical teaching, which leads to justifying the killing of innocent human life under the guise of “We’re God’s chosen people, so we can choose to kill anyone we want”.
This is a lie, grave sin, and a blasphemous teaching.
For 2,000 years, the Catholic Church has never taught that any modern nation-state fulfills biblical prophecy. The Church teaches that the promises of the Old Covenant are fulfilled in Jesus Christ and made universal through His Mystical Body, the Church. At the Second Vatican Council, Lumen Gentium affirms that the Church is the new People of God, gathered from every nation by faith and Baptism, not by ethnicity or land.
The Kingdom of God is not a geopolitical, atheist state, but is made present in Christ and His Church.
Catholics are reclaiming Christianity by returning to the apostolic faith handed down through Sacred Scripture and Tradition and rejecting modern theological systems that separate God’s covenant from its fulfillment in Christ.
It’s time Catholics #reclaimchristianity and take it back from heretical teaching which is destroying America and the world.
This is not about @CarriePrejean1 being unjustly removed from a White House Commission on Religious Freedom. It's a full on assault against the very principles that (are supposed to) undergird the First Amendment, and a blatant display of anti-Catholic bias. Let's look closer. For the full version, join the True North movement.
A recent statement by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez illuminates the Marxist ideology which continues to take hold of American politicians. Here are my thoughts.
Forced conversions to political Zionism threaten to unravel the long-standing, functional political relationship between Catholics and Jews worldwide.
The constant gaslighting and the demand that Christians concede moral or political deference on the basis of ancestry or DNA is not merely wrong, it is obscene. It is the open assertion that blood confers authority and that Christians must submit. That logic is poisonous and historically dangerous.
Catholics who actually practice their faith and know Church teaching hold a coherent position: a two-state political solution in the Holy Land and one religious covenant fulfilled and perfected in Jesus Christ. That is settled Catholic doctrine. It is not negotiable. It is not subject to revision by activists, pundits, or ethnic nationalists.
Yet we are lectured by non-observant political operatives like Laura Loomer and ethno nationalist ideologues like Mark Levin who have no standing to instruct anyone on Catholic theology, morality, or covenantal truth. Even more grotesque are the Protestant Zionist pastors who spent half their lives attacking the Catholic Church, calling her idolatrous, anti-Christian, and false, and now suddenly presume to pontificate to Catholics about Scripture, covenant, and obedience when it suits a geopolitical agenda. You do not get to denounce the Church for decades and then demand submission from her faithful.
What makes this entire performance even more dishonest is that political Zionism does not command anything close to a consensus within the Jewish world itself. Large segments of Hasidic, Chabad, and Orthodox communities openly reject Zionism on religious grounds. They have done so consistently and unapologetically. On both the Jewish left and the Jewish right, there are serious Jewish voices who oppose war hawk nationalism, reject ethnic absolutism, and refuse to reduce Jewish identity to a modern political ideology.
Those Jews are erased because they destroy the narrative. If Zionism does not equal Judaism, then the moral intimidation campaign falls apart. So instead, a small class of ideological enforcers, media agitators, and nationalist zealots monopolize the conversation, scream the loudest, and accuse the fastest. They do not represent Jews as a people. They represent a faction that demands power and moral submission.
Catholics are being ordered to submit to an ideology that many Jews themselves reject. That alone exposes the fraud. This is not about honoring Jewish religion or protecting Jewish life. It is about forcing ideological compliance through accusation and fear.
Catholics are not obligated to participate in that lie. We recognize the real diversity within Judaism because we take Judaism and Jewish consciousness seriously. Those attempting to impose political Zionism as a universal moral command flatten Judaism into a political weapon and then dare to lecture Christians about morality.
That is not dialogue. That is not an alliance. That is ideological domination. And Catholics are right to reject it outright.
The Catholic Church has never taught that the modern State of Israel fulfills biblical prophecy or that Catholics are religiously obligated to support any political nation as part of God’s plan of salvation.
Vatican II is clear. Christ instituted the New Covenant in His Blood, calling together a people made up of Jew and Gentile, uniting them not according to the flesh, but in the Spirit.
“This was to be the new People of God.” (Lumen Gentium §9)
The People of God are no longer defined by land, bloodline, or political borders, but by faith in Jesus Christ.
Nostra Aetate affirms that salvation is not tied to ethnicity or territorial promises, but is fulfilled in Christ and extended to all through His Church.
God’s covenant is not a real estate contract. It is fulfilled in Christ.
Sacred Scripture states:
“the Jews, who killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets”
1 Thessalonians 2:14–15
Under the IHRA definition, even citing this biblical passage can be labeled antisemitic. That places Catholics and all Christians who profess the Bible on dangerous ground. Holy Scripture is not antisemitic. It is the Word of God.
IHRA defines antisemitism in part as: “Using the symbols and images associated with classic antisemitism (e.g., claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterize Israel or Israelis.”
Our Church is universal.
Our covenant is new and eternal.
Our loyalty belongs to the Kingdom of God, not to any earthly state.
Political Zionism is not Catholic doctrine. Catholics are under no religious obligation to support it whatsoever.
A Catholic woman appointed to defend religious freedom should not be denied her own for holding religious beliefs about a political ideology like Zionism. That is viewpoint discrimination and a violation of my First Amendment rights while serving on a commission tasked with defending your religious freedom.
Am I not entitled to my own religious liberty while serving to defend yours?
It appears I was the only one on stage Monday who understood the assignment President Trump entrusted me with: protect religious freedom for all Americans, including my own, by challenging political and theological supremacy.
Rejecting the claim that any modern nation-state fulfills biblical prophecy does not make me an antisemite. It makes me Catholic.
I stand for religious freedom🇺🇸🫡✝️
Warning: If you’re an Evangelical or “non-denominational,” and want to stay that way, DO NOT LOOK INTO CATHOLICISM. I made the mistake of “going there,” and let me tell you… your life will be simpler. Sure, you’ll miss out on living at peace, having coherent theology, real forgiveness, and maybe Heaven itself, but at least you won’t have to suffer the indignity of having to admit that you believed lies from self-appointed preachers who didn’t have any apostolic authority, and who were just telling you their personal opinions. At least you won’t need to admit that the Bible is a Catholic book, or that Mary can pray for you extremely effectively, or that you’ve been perpetuating a 500-year scam known as Sola Scriptura. So yeah, my advice is to just stay on track, keep attending the weekly laser show, eat the bagel, DONATE MORE, and don’t ask questions about why anything is the way it is.
