I went to my bank the other day to withdraw $2,000 in cash for a trip.
Bank employee: "Hi, what are you taking this money out for?"
Me: "Hi, because I need some cash."
Bank employee: "I need something more specific to put in the system."
Me: “Oh, I'm going on a trip.”
Bank employee: “Why would you need that much cash if you're going on a trip?”
Me: “Does it really matter?”
Bank employee: "I'm just trying to understand what you'll be using it for."
Me: “…...?”
Bank employee: "Let me go check with my manager"
I waited over 20 minutes, at that point, it didn't even feel like my own money. I just left and figured it out with a friend.
What a ridiculous question? Employees usually match your 401(k) so you have to max it out to get the most of the free money that you’re gonna get so you’ll have it for retirement. Don’t you understand what planning is?

Rent, home ownership, affording a place to live, all of it is a big challenge for millions of Americans.
But again, Donald Trump doesn't care.
Elon Musk once jokingly offered to end World Hunger, asking how much it would cost as if it would be some incalculable number.
When the UN replied saying 6.6 Billion would be enough to immediately end Famine for the year he never responded, and a few months later bought Twitter for 44 Billion.
You struggle and suffer because people like him are allowed to exist, not because your neighbor is an immigrant.
Everyone says you can just take a loan against your 401k…but noone tells you it’s capped at $50k.
And that you still have to sell the investments, not ideal in a down market.
