@HBombTrinity@harukaawake No everyone wanting to visit Japan has a massive disposable income. I dont....and I still want to visit. I do agree with you however about TikTok and Livestreaming and YouTubing in general.....and Social media....all of them are horrible virus and should be banned....
@Ausbobsmit Not agreeing or disagreeing with anything...but what specifically are we saying is absurd about this....
- the fact that he clearly doesnt look Aboriginal...or...
- that any such person should not be able to make that claim
Just trying to understand peoples thinking
@AbroadInJapan Is what it is.
What should we expect? Should organisations simply ignore technology in favour of giving people a job?
The reality is the majority of companies do not have a responsibility…legal or otherwise…to provide anyone with a job.
Another beautiful walking and talking video by @ex_jap....featuring Oriental Pearl (@AnmingandTommy).
Really worth your time watching. Really Enjoyable.

@harukaawake - Trouble seems to be caused only by certain tourists. Target those causing the bulk of the issues.
- Limit tourism. Allow only a certain number each month from each country
- Eliminate streaming. This is a major issue
- Punish problem makers and their countrymen
@HBombTrinity@harukaawake why not simply say you dont want tourism! You cant have it both ways. You cant say...we want tourism, but we are going to charge $3000 for you to come here. Those are not compatible ideas.
@BryonTRussell@harukaawake Tourism anywhere is always going to be a problem and Japan is really no exception. What you have suggested will only stiffle tourism and forces the question "Does Japan want tourism or not ?"
I dont think the country can have it both ways.
@harukaawake Please, please do not let these people get a foothold. As a millennial, Japanese exports colored my entire childhood. Growing up, the sharing of respect and cultural curiosity I have had with the Japanese friends I have has moved me to tears. TAKE ACTION BEFORE ITS TOO LATE
@AsianDawn4 As much as I love Japan and would give half my remaining life to live there....I find it difficult to have sympathy for them with this.
There are infinite examples of how these people behave all around the world and yet...the choose still to import them.
@AbroadInJapan Chris, I hope you will alway be well and do well. You have established a good circle of friends around you...that alone is an incredible acheivement.
I'm just a nobody of course...but message if you ever want to chat to a stranger and hear why my spirit and soul live in Japan!
@Magnum702@JEAlexander@OliverJia1014 May you always love you life there.
I'll never really be able to explain how I feel about Japan. It brings out the best version of who I am. Ive never felt that way in any other country.
Im now in my late 50s and it is painful to know that I will not likely ever live there.
@Magnum702@JEAlexander@OliverJia1014 I absolutely could not agree more!!
I wish I had words to express how I would love to reside and build my life in Japan. I understand that it is not a perfect country...but it is perfect for me. I would happily, work, pay taxes and follow all the rules and norms!
@BrantRaven@JEAlexander@OliverJia1014 Coming from a country where I’d walk in to the bathroom at Target and hear people listening to YouTube videos on their phone I really like a lot of the social norms here especially on the train.
