Why is everyone suddenly having amnesia about who runs the business side of Candace’s podcast, including the ads? She has repeatedly said it’s her husband, who stays off social media and is unlikely to know the ins and outs of this community.
Considering how often she says she doesn’t understand tech, the idea that she suddenly knows all about the Glacier app and how it works makes me wonder whether the people trying to cancel her over it have ever even watched her show.
Using this app means simply having it installed on your phone.. it runs in the background and is a set of and forget it. Where’s any evidence her husband did not install this on her phone?
Where are you getting that using Glacier gets you red flagged by your ISP or credit card company? Having payment details linked to an account isn’t the same as your card issuer flagging you.
You could be part of the 19% though.
I’m seeing tons of accounts I’ve never seen before that either just started posting in October or posted the complete opposite just two weeks ago to almost an insane degree and now are have a complete about face almost in rage like these two accounts.
She advertised Glacier’s secure DNS and tracker blocking, not its optional calling service…
Keeping records of calls made through that service does not prove the app collects contacts, photos, location or browsing history and Twilio’s company wide subpoena statistics aren’t evidence that Glacier handed over its users information.
Also why does this say Candace is a cofounder
@CosmicHeret1c@AZMaGHaMaMa Not me. I give him zero passes for her and I drag that dumb wench every time I see her on my timeline (which isn’t nearly as much anymore since I blocked her back)
@realstewpeters Charlie rejected money that controlled what he spoke about or who he associated with.
Did the Glacier ad read control what Candace spoke about or who she could have on her podcast or am I missing something?
Independent creators need to be able to criticize whatever politics they want, even when an advertiser is paying them. Show me where she stopped criticizing Zionism or Israel and then we’d have an issue imo.
Taking money from a low level marketer at a company that has over 100,000 employees is not the same thing as doing Ellison’s bidding.
If anything, taking money from a company that supports Zionism and using it to fund a platform where you criticize Zionism is pretty Robin Hood-esque. In Charlie’s case, he was being told what to say and who to associate with so no longer wanted it. That’s a different scenario.
The issue is the control attached to the money.
Sounds reminiscent of the Ellen Greenberg case, where her death was ruled a suicide despite 20 stab wounds, and her fiancé, Sam Goldberg, was never charged…. Convenient that his uncle was judge, James Schwartzman, and Josh Shapiro’s office upheld the suicide determination when he was attorney general.
@TheSmuttyTruth What’s smart is delegating responsibilities within your business so everyone is in charge of what’s in their wheelhouse and can stick to what they’re good at. Intelligence doesn’t mean personally handling every part of your business.
Not every single thing in life is a puzzle
The question is how far does that vetting have to go? The company, its founders, every investor and everyone those investors have ever funded? Her husband puts the brand deals together that allow them to pay a staff and run a podcast. They clearly try to align them with their values like pre born, paleovalley, etc. The reality is we live in a world that’s basically ran by Zionist communism at this point. It’s hard to find a job or platform that’s free of this influence entirely let alone every ad deal.
