A good read from Amnesty Australia about your rights if protesting - President Herzog (AKA Signer of Bombs that Blow Up Children and Assistant in a Genocide). Yes the Minns government announced draconian rules but its not unlawful to protest tomorrow

So this is how it will play. People will turn out in their thousands to protest against Israel for the atrocities it is committing in Gaza & the West Bank. Then Aust Zionists will claim that the protests are proof that we are antisemitic & demand further limits on free speech 👇
We must not allow Australia to become a safe haven for war criminals. Figures like the Israeli President, Isaac Herzog, should not be welcomed here.
International law must apply to everyone — no exceptions. Accountability means investigation, charges, and justice, not red carpets and silence.
@will_owen9 Dupont is good, but there's a reason he doesn't travel to the SH and he's greatness is contained to homes games/domestic competitions. To be great you have to be great on the biggest stages.
@elonmusk Genocide is being carried out in Palestine and you've decided to not only say nothing about that, but rather criticise an individual in another country about a statement? I guess when you've been raised as the beneficiary of an apartheid state, that's normal?
@peakprgressive@JasonMHicks Anyone who tries to justify the years of oppression and current murder of Palestinians, are either ignorant, or have no moral compass.
Whilst there are parallels between the two, nothing justifies what's happening.
