The seasons been over for a bit, but here’s my race from Azusa, CA this past year. Led from start to finish, and hit a personal best time of 1:50.11. In 20 of 21 past seasons I would have ran at nationals, but unfortunately everyone got faster. I won’t miss out on it next year.

TALK ABOUT A BREAKOUT PERFORMANCE 💥

In only his third career World Marathon Major, Joel Reichow of Minnesota Distance Elite clocks both a lifetime best and top American finish, running 2:09:56 for sixth overall at the 2025 NYC Marathon.

Reichow hit halfway in 19th and negative split the hilly course 65:21-64:35, a masterclass performance on a tough course.
