@gamecocker69 This was one of my first Gamecock basketball games as a freshman. It was insane to see it live.

@TKopelman Thanks! I’ll check out Utah’s

Rico Dowdle is 3rd in the NFL in rushing. His career path is unlike any I've seen at the RB position:

- Was South Carolina's 2nd-leading rusher his final season in 2019 behind Tavien Feaster
- UDFA in 2020
- 7 total carries his first 3 seasons in the NFL
- Didn't start a game until his 5th season
- Is the 33rd-highest paid RB in the NFL (1-year, $2.75m) despite going for over 1,000 yards last season

@BreakinDownFilm I think I’ve seen you tweet this exact tweet the last 3 coordinators. And you’re correct almost every time (Dowell turned out to be better than we all expected).

[Braxton Towery @BraxtonTowery]

@BreakinDownFilm Gosh I hope they aren’t worse than our 2023 oline where Rattler had to run for his life every play just to get a throw off…

[Braxton Towery @BraxtonTowery]

@BCrawford247 Why you should just stick to Paddletek 😉

I can't stand South Carolina..

However; they deserve a spot in the CFP over Alabama. Yes I understand that Bama beat them in a head to head by two points in Tuscaloosa, do I think it matters? No.

South Carolina also beat a Vanderbilt team by 21 in Nashville, the same team that beat Bama in Nashville. South Carolina also beat an Oklahoma team (on the road) by 26 points.. the same team that held Alabama to a field goal the entire game.

CFP committee, do the right thing.

The human element. It is the human element that cost South Carolina dearly against LSU. Ironically, it is also the human element that could put the Gamecocks in the field of 12 today. I haven't seen any national analysts who think South Carolina isn't one of the 12 best teams in the country. If that's the point of this playoff, to get the 12 best in, then the Gamecocks should be in. The context. The common sense. It's the entire reason there's a committee. Otherwise, just throw the numbers in a computer and have it tell us the bracket.

@whelms21 Do you live near Greensboro? Or did you just make the special trip for the game?

[Braxton Towery @BraxtonTowery]

@cocks_by_90 Oh man! Let’s rock! Hope it’s me!

[Braxton Towery @BraxtonTowery]

@whelms21 I remember reading that tweet, surprised that was even being mentioned, but i could sense the confidence and wondered if we actually might be in the conversation. Definitely didn’t expect this kind of season!

[Braxton Towery @BraxtonTowery]

@JEricR Right, no advantage to be only down 12 vs 13… but 11 can at least get you a field goal attempt to tie it.
