It was a packed house at Boscobel for this rivalry game & the 2nd half did not disappoint. After Kenna Wallin opened the 2nd half scoring with a 3 to get Boscobel within 32-29, Fennimore scored 6 straight to extend their lead to 38-29. Boscobel punched back with a 16-3 run to go up 45-41, which included 2 3s by 6'1" Erin Knowles.

With Boscobel still leading 46-43, UW-Platteville commit Braycee Nelson took over, scoring on a put back, hitting a 3, & adding 2 FTs for a personal 7-0 run to put Fennimore up 50-46. But Nelson was far from done, with a 52-51 lead, she drew the defense off the drive & dished to Rose French for a layup, got a steal on the inbounds & drew a foul, hit the 2nd FT, & got another steal after the inbounds; she then ran down 2 defensive rebounds late forcing Boscobel to foul. Fennimore walks away with a hard-fought 59-53 rivalry win.

For Boscobel, Cornell (IA) commit Erin Knowles was a force, playing all 5 position, initiating the offense from the point, scoring inside & out, blocking shots, & dominating the boards.
