After nearly two years of posting on X, I’ve decided to step away.
I’ve come and gone before, announcing exits and returns, and I’m aware of how hollow that can sound. This time is different. This is not a break, and it’s not temporary. It’s a deliberate decision to step out of this space for the foreseeable future.
I care deeply about information and understanding the world as it is, not as it’s packaged or simplified. X has been a place where I could stay up to date on public events, follow debates in real time, and share my own thoughts as they formed. I’m grateful for that, and I don’t regret the time I’ve spent here.
But I’ve come to realize that constant awareness can quietly turn into constant reaction. When everything is immediate, nothing is fully processed. I don’t want to live in a state of perpetual commentary, or feel compelled to respond to every moment as it unfolds.
I want to think more slowly, read more deeply, and build privately without the pressure to narrate the process. There are seasons in life for speaking publicly, and seasons for listening, learning, and forming convictions away from the noise. This is the latter.
I’m not abandoning curiosity, awareness, or conviction. I’m choosing to pursue them with more discipline and intention, outside the confines of a platform designed for speed.
I may return to public platforms years from now, when it makes sense and serves a clearer purpose. But that time is not now. For now, I’m stepping away fully and without ambiguity.
I’m thankful for the perspectives I’ve encountered here, and I wish everyone well.

Regardless of how you felt about Rob Reiner, this is inappropriate and disrespectful discourse about a man who was just brutally murdered. I guess my elected GOP colleagues, the VP, and White House staff will just ignore it because they’re afraid? I challenge anyone to defend it.
@Vanguard0x@BernieSanders That’s ridiculous. Without Social Media, schools pressure children into blind loyalty to America and Israel, push agendas, and children are gaslit. Social media is a tool, we should help children use it wisely, not take it away.
Politics has shaped me in a lot of ways, and I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had. But I’ve reached a point where I need to step back a little—not out of frustration, but out of a desire to grow with honesty and integrity. I want to make decisions rooted in who I truly am, not in the expectations or chaos around me. Sometimes stepping back is the only way to move forward the right way.
Tsk tsk. NC state law requires all passengers in a moving vehicle to be wearing a seatbelt. But King @RoyCooperNC says “Click-It-Or-Ticket for thee, but not for me.” This man has no respect for basic law & order in NC. #ncpol#ncsen
Respectfully, Mr. President, affordability is not a Democrat talking point. It is a real crisis. Working Americans are paying 2025 prices on 2000 wages. Gas is easing, but groceries, rent, and cars are not. If this is not fixed, the GOP will feel it in the midterms.
I was in the car earlier with the Christmas station playing on the radio and I noticed something: none of the songs mentioned Christ. Not even once.
What are Americans celebrating and singing about? December? Winter? New things? Because it sure ain’t Christmas.
Restore the Christ in Christmas.
Christmas was never about shopping carts, Santa myths, or background noise in a mall.
It was about God entering the world as a baby to save it.
If Jesus is not at the center of your Christmas, then you are not celebrating Christmas. You are celebrating December.
You can’t have true family without Christ.
Bring Him back to the table.
America didn’t just become the greatest country in the world. Americans built it.
Don’t give me that equal opportunity bs.
We built our nation, and now we get to enjoy the fruits of it.
You go build your own nation, and then you can enjoy your own fruits.
Remigration now.
We must protect our good ol’ American Way. Our Culture, our Heritage, our People.
Remigration now. It’s time to play a new version of Cowboys and Indians: Cowboys and Arabs.
Your aborted baby had a heartbeat.

This started as a conversation about Christmas, not end-times debates or other religions. Christmas is a Christian holy day centered on the birth of Jesus Christ. If someone does not believe in Christ, that is their right, but redefining a Christian holiday to exclude Christ is exactly the problem.
