Jack Eichel on the Vegas Golden Knights being called an “evil empire” by fans:
"I don't know, it's a place a lot of people want to play. So it can't be that bad, right? It can't be that much of an evil empire. I mean, you can say it's because we're aggressive and maybe we do things a little differently, this or that. But obviously whatever the organization's been doing, and I've only been a part of it for half the time, but obviously whatever the organization's been doing, they've been doing something right, right? It's had success and that starts with our owner and Bill Foley and George McPhee and Kelly McCrimmon and everyone else that's been a part of it. And that runs through our training staff, that runs through our equipment staff, that runs through all the people that work in our front office and work in the business side of things. So I think you feel that when you're there and you spend more time there it's a great organization to be a part of. It's a great city to live in. It's a great city to play for. I have nothing but great things to say about the organization. Sometimes when people have success and good things happen, other people like to try and drag them down. So it is what it is." #VegasBorn #ForgedInGold #StanleyCup
If the Vegas Golden Knights lose tonight, don’t blame the team.
Don’t blame the refs.
Blame the coach that saw a goaltender fall apart in Carter Hart and have FOUR GOALS AGAINST for FOUR GAMES and refused to make a change.
Who played with the lines for no reason just “because.”
A coach who was never staying in Vegas to start with.
A coach with zero accountability after the season is over.
A man who doesn’t need to face his players at training camp, or the fans at the local grocery store after the season is over.
Blame that man. Not the players. Not the refs. Not the “dirty” play you thought you saw from the Hurricanes.
Guy said that baseball isn't hard to play in the comments, you can disregard this guy
Also hockey is 30 times harder to play than soccer or hell any other sport
Soccer is the hardest sport in the world to play. To put it in perspective you can take any active NBA/NFL player and they would not one who be able to get by me and score I haven’t touched a ball in 3 years. I’d put 100k on it.
It’s hilarious how bad a top NFL or NBA player looks tryna play soccer 😂
The US starting 11 are some of the best athletes the country has don’t fantasize about how good these other athletes would be at soccer prolly not that good.
Kevin King u can rest now, Keisean Nixon is and will forever be on my number 1 hatewatch list, Ive never hated someone more than this bum ass nigga, Almost got my franchise QB killed ✌🏾
I didn’t tweet about this Friday night because he ended up being fine, but Jordan Love showed me this TikTok in the locker room today of him almost getting knocked out by a softball during the charity game. Sticks his hand up at the last second and it drills him. Crisis averted.
The Golden Knights have done a masterful job winning the chaos early in a series. They did it against Utah, Anaheim, Colorado, and now Carolina.
Then, when the games settle down, they find that next gear to take the series over.
Does it settle down tonight?
