I can no longer stand by in silence and watch our country and our society continue to be destroyed, and our future continue to be ruined. We are in shambles at the hands of the liberal government in this country. No longer will I stand by and allow for manipulation and deception to take over our people. We are being lied to in this country. We are being manipulated. We are being brainwashed. We are being silenced. We are being encouraged to do what “feels good” and “feels right” instead of what is good and what is right. We need to stand together, stand up for what is right, and stand up for what is true. Love is not affirming how our loved one’s “feel” all the time. Love is not affirming our families and friends ideologies and false perceptions of reality. Love is gently reminding those we care about of what is true, and what truth is. The truth will ALWAYS prevail! There is an absolute truth. And his name is Jesus. And I’m here to tell you that he died for you, because he loves you. Jesus calls us to stand in truth and not to be afraid of the outcome (Matthew 10:26-28 & 32-33).
It’s time to take our lives back and stand up for what is right. We must stand together. We must stand strong.
There is plenty of hype surrounding the Raptors thanks to the acquisition of Kawhi Leonard. However, there are still concerns with this roster, writes @michaelgrange. https://t.co/dtjxKb0sbu
BREAKING: Kawhi Leonard has signed two-year, $115 million contract extension with the Raptors, plus a player option for the 2028-29 season per Shams Charania
Jake Fischer on the Raptors/Kawhi Leonard extension:
-The trade-off for Kawhi not signing the full max extension was receiving the player option. The PO allows him to tear up the final year and enter RFA.
-Despite that, Kawhi wants to retire a Toronto Raptor. The PO only exists as a way to rip the option and extend for more years into the future.
-There is a thought from the Raptors that Kawhi could decline the PO and extend his second stint with the Raptors deeper into the 2030s.
-Jake believes Toronto had Kawhi Leonard at the top of their list, but had signalled to the league they were going ‘big game hunting.’
They called Boston about Jaylen Brown.
They called Memphis about JJJ.
They had some conversation with Dallas about Anthony Davis.
Under Bobby Webster, the Raptors were looking to push their chips into the middle of the table and to add an All-NBA-star-calibre player.

Kawhi Leonard earns $57.5M average annual value on his two-year extension with the Raptors at age 35.
Leonard, who left the team in 2019 after one season that resulted in the franchise’s first NBA championship, likely intends to finish out his illustrious career in Toronto.
Some initial thoughts on Kawhi Leonard’s extension with the Raptors - a deal that both sides can feel good about, as they begin their second stint together:
Comes in just below his max, which would’ve been worth $126 million over 2 years. Both sides were committed to getting this done before training camp opens next week.
Both sides maintained consistent dialogue on Leonard’s long-term Raptors future since July after the reunion via trade — and the two-time Finals MVP expects to finish his career in Toronto. Leonard, 35, now has a total of three years and $165 million on his Raptors deal.
Just in: Toronto Raptors All-NBA star Kawhi Leonard has agreed on a two-year, $115 million contract extension with the franchise, plus a player option for the 2028-29 season, his agent Harrison Gaines of SLASH Sports tells ESPN.
