देखिए तिजारा (अलवर) में कांग्रेस के निर्वाचित पार्षदों को भाजपा और पुलिस के चंगुल से किस तरह छुड़ाया गया।

हालात ऐसे बना दिए गए कि पार्षदों को मजबूरी में बस के शीशे तोड़कर बाहर निकलना पड़ा। महिला पार्षदों को भी बस से कूदकर बाहर निकलना पड़ा।

21 सितंबर को वोटिंग से पहले 2 दिन तक राजस्थान पुलिस और हरियाणा पुलिस ने सत्ता के इशारे पर कांग्रेस के पार्षदों को बंधक बनाकर रखा, ताकि वो अपने वोट का इस्तेमाल न कर सकें।

सोचिए.. जिस BJP को राजस्थान की जनता ने नकार दिया, उसने प्रदेशभर में लोकतंत्र को लूटने के लिए सत्ता के दुरुपयोग से लेकर पुलिसिया तंत्र के बेजा इस्तेमाल तक तानाशाही के क्या-क्या हथकंडे अपनाए हैं।

सत्ता के दम पर चुने हुए कांग्रेस पार्षदों पर फर्जी मुकदमे लगाए गए, जबरन उठाया गया, बंधक बनाया गया, धमकाया गया, ताकी उनसे वोटिंग का अधिकार छीन सकें। लेकिन भाजपाई सत्ता की सारी ताकत के बावजूद तिजारा की जनता की ताकत के आगे तानाशाही को झुकना पड़ा।

भाजपा और पुलिस के शिकंजे से निकलकर रात 10 बजे कांग्रेस पार्षदों ने तिजारा पहुंचकर वोट किया और कांग्रेस की जीत हुई।

मुख्यमंत्री @BhajanlalBjp जी, चुनाव जीतने के लिए आपने जिस तरह लोकतंत्र को कलंकित किया, उसे राजस्थान न कभी भूलेगा, न ही कभी आपको माफ़ करेगा।

बिहार से शुरु हुआ SIR अब जब दिल्ली में दस्तक दे चुका है, तब शायद सत्ताधीशों को पता चल रहा है कि कांग्रेस पार्टी पूरे process को पहले दिन से Flawed क्यों कह रही थी !

SIR केवल भाजपा द्वारा वोट चोरी व लोकतंत्र को खत्म करने का औज़ार ही नहीं है बल्कि ये Flawed Process एक Frankenstein Monster जिसने अब उसी के लोगों को फँसा दिया है !!

भाजपा के ही कई बड़े नेता - भाजपा के वरिष्ठतम, लालकृष्ण आडवाणी जी, मौजूदा विदेश मंत्री, दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल (LG), राज्यसभा सांसद, पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री, पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री आदि शामिल हैं, इन सबको अब नोटिस दिया गया। हालत यह कि कि इससे पहले भारत रत्न से सम्मानित वैज्ञानिक व पूर्व नौसेना प्रमुख को भी नोटिस जारी किए जा चुके है।

बंगाल में जिन लोगों के नाम काटकर उन्हें वोट देने से रोका गया, उनमें अब तक फैसला हुए मामलों में 93% लोग अपनी अपील जीत गए - यानि 1,13,943 लोगों को फिर से मतदाता सूची में शामिल किया जाएगा! वाह !

किस आधार पर उनका मताधिकार छीना गया?

ऊपर से चुनाव आयोग आज आधिकारिक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति जारी कर के “VIP/marked electors” का वर्णन करता है।

क्या अब भारत के Universal Adult Franchise में मतदाताओं की कोई Special Category है — VIP मतदाता और आम मतदाता?

क्या हमारे संविधान ने जो One Person, One Vote, One Value का सिद्धांत दिया था, ये उसकी अवेहलना नहीं है? क्या VIP वोट अब ज्यादा क़ीमती हो गया है?

SIR के पहले तीन चरणों में 31 राज्यों/केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में 13.8 करोड़ मतदाता सूची से बाहर हुए—यानी 94.78 करोड़ मतदाताओं में से करीब 14.61%, उनपर हाथ पर हाथ धरे किसके इशारे पर बैठा रहता है?

Narendra Modi is NOT God.

He is a politician and the Prime Minister of India. He seeks votes, exercises enormous power and makes decisions affecting 140 crore people. That means he can be questioned, criticised, caricatured, mimicked, and laughed at.

For more than a decade, the BJP's propaganda machinery has tried to place Modi above ordinary politics. Criticism becomes "anti-national." Mimicry becomes "disrespect." A joke becomes a national emergency. They have cultivated such fear around one man that even laughing at his mannerisms is treated like blasphemy.

That is not respect. That is a personality cult.

Pulkit Mani did what comedians have always done, he lampooned a powerful politician, his theatrical hugs, rehearsed gestures, "my friend" diplomacy and carefully manufactured public persona.

@RahulGandhi laughed. The students laughed. I ROFLd 😂

Power should hear the sound of public laughter occasionally. It keeps democracy breathing and politicians human.

Rahul Gandhi has endured years of mockery, crude names, doctored videos and organised ridicule from BJP leaders, television studios and their meme factories. If jokes are acceptable only when directed at the Opposition but become sacrilege when aimed at Modi, this is not humour. It is दरबारी propaganda.

And now comes the BJP's particularly shameless lie.

The line "Maa ko kursi do" mimicked Modi asking that an elderly woman in the audience be given a chair. Pulkit did not mention Modi’s late mother. He did not abuse her.

Yet BJP leaders deliberately dragged her into the controversy because "a comedian mocked Modi" was not emotionally explosive enough for their outrage factory.

Think about that. To protect himself from a joke, Modi is willing to use his departed mother as a political shield. Can you imagine that?

It's Modi and the BJP leaders who are in fact disrespecting his mother.

India needs more satire, not less. More cartoonists, comedians, poets and citizens willing to puncture political egos, whether the politician is Modi or anyone else. No public figure should be placed beyond humour.

Politicians are temporary. The people's freedom to question and laugh at them is permanent.

So laugh. Mimic. Draw cartoons. Write jokes. Take the halo off the politician and put accountability back on his head.

When rulers become frightened of laughter, laughter itself becomes a democratic duty.

आज दिल्ली में 4PM की पत्रकार शाहीन के साथ जो हुआ, वह बेहद गंभीर और डराने वाला है.

शाहीन दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता से सवाल पूछने की कोशिश कर रही थीं. शाहीन का आरोप है कि इसी दौरान दिल्ली पुलिस ने उन्हें पकड़ लिया और मारते-पीटते थाने ले गई. उनका यह भी आरोप है कि जब पुलिसकर्मियों ने उनका नाम पूछा और नाम में ‘खान’ सुना, तो उनके साथ मारपीट और बढ़ गई.

अगर एक पत्रकार को सिर्फ इसलिए पीटा जाता है क्योंकि वह मुख्यमंत्री से सवाल पूछ रही है, तो यह मामला सिर्फ शाहीन या 4PM का नहीं है. यह देश की पूरी पत्रकारिता और प्रेस की आजादी का सवाल है.

पिछले दिनों 4PM ने दिल्ली सरकार और मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता से जुड़े मामलों पर लगातार गंभीर सवाल उठाए और खबरें प्रकाशित की थीं. ऐसे में यह सवाल उठना स्वाभाविक है कि क्या आज की कार्रवाई का उन खबरों और सवालों से कोई संबंध है?

मुख्यमंत्री से सवाल पूछना अपराध कब से हो गया?
पत्रकार का सवाल सत्ता के लिए इतना खतरनाक कब से हो गया?
और किसी पत्रकार के नाम में ‘खान’ होना क्या उसके साथ मारपीट की वजह बन सकता है?

दिल्ली पुलिस और दिल्ली सरकार को इन सवालों का जवाब देना चाहिए.

हम मांग करते हैं कि पूरे घटनाक्रम की निष्पक्ष जांच हो. घटनास्थल और थाने के CCTV सहित उपलब्ध सभी वीडियो फुटेज तत्काल सुरक्षित किए जाएं. यदि किसी पुलिसकर्मी ने शाहीन के साथ मारपीट या उनकी धार्मिक पहचान के आधार पर दुर्व्यवहार किया है, तो उसके खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई हो.

4PM सवाल पूछता रहा है और सवाल पूछता रहेगा.

पुलिस की ताकत से पत्रकार की आवाज दबाई नहीं जा सकती.

Dear Sonia Gandhi,

You had every choice to walk away, to live a peaceful life away from all this noise. Why did you choose to stay?

Do those bitter words still hurt you in silence? Or have you been wounded so deeply that the pain has simply stopped affecting you?

Yet, deep down, I feel one thing for sure that if you could go back in time, knowing every tear and every cruelty that awaited you, you would still choose to be the Sonia Gandhi you are today. But why?

How did you endure so much? And more than that, why?
Is it difficult to be a woman in this world? A woman in politics? A widow in politics? A widow standing at the center of Indian politics? Would this journey have been a little easier if the love of your life was still walking beside you today? Do you miss him in excruciating moments? Or do you hear something insulting about yourself before you can have the time to miss him?

My questions never seem to end. How did you endure it all? And in the end, for what?
