He can deregulate as much as he wants but the houses won't get built. He can get as furious as he wants with bats, snails and nimbys, but that won't help.
What he actually needs to do is calm down and speak to @CommunityPlann1 about what the housing crisis really is (and how to solve it)

@EmilyBaah Contact the wildlife trust and inform them, your local police commissioner, your local parish council and district councillors and your MP. If you get them onboard they will make more waves with the local police force and then action maybe taken. Hope your dad is ok.

@cineworld paid £16.90 to see SIX live last night. Cinema dark when we arrived, no help to find our seats, rubbish all over the floor, crunching through popcorn, sat with feet in popcorn, kids making so much noise through the showing. No one around to check this. Won’t be back.

People have reasonable concerns for transport links, schools, GPs, the loss of green spaces and irritation at developers' reluctance to create affordable housing.
