@zdch I have many friends very excited about her. And while I like a good amount of her personal story and even some of her politics, I think her being the general election candidate is an excellent way to bungle the govenor's office to the GOP in an year we should win with ease.
We've been running an unprecedented natural experiment running for a decade and half. 30 states have raised their minimum wages. 20 have not.
What happened to pay? What happened to jobs? The good news is that it's pretty easy to figure out now.

@Giannis4MVP2023@BrewCrewScoop Yea this is where I'm at, you hope Made would become Witt. That said Royals would be nuts to trade him and I'm not sure the Brewers would pay that salary?
@chuck47i@BrewerNation Guy knows his way up and down for sure. But remember you only use one option per year when you move someone up and down, they can go back and forth multiple times in that year only using the one option up.
@ashleyschendel What I'm hearing here is that you don't want rich people that can pay cash for housing to have to pay property taxes? I do not understand this issue. Just because I stop owing the bank a payment, why would I have to stop paying taxes?
@Em_TeeGee This is something I talk about with "my" interns, and professionals in the same field as me. Knowing what people in your field are making is super helpful for others.
@kristofgunter@AdamMcCalvy Do you think Lara will be on the big league roster when Jackson, Vaughn and Yelich come back? Seems unlikely, so they are not going to start that service timer.
@BrewCrewScoop@Brewers Roof should be closed if it is less than 65 out. The point is to be comfortable watching in a tshirt and never worry about the weather
@NeisesTom@dgasper24 Rengifo contract is 3.5 million, they'll give him a long leash. Ortiz and Ham both have options remaining, but really only Pratt is available on the 40 man to bring up and he hasn't started hot in AAA either.
Similar issue with Megill, getting paid 4 mil...does have 1 option tho
@zdch Players are more explosive and high flying today than the 80's/90's, this increases injury risk, and appears to drain the bodies energy faster/longer as well. Combined with your point #2 and ring's is all that matters for legacy talk, makes stars want/need to sit more frequently.
@zdch I just don't think further punishing teams bad teams is useful. It really hurts non-destination cities as well. I also just don't see how the players on the floor care about draft picks for the team, when on a bad team there is likely to be lots of roster turnover.
@WildeAndTausch@ESPNMilwaukee@ESPNbd@ESPNMadison We've had competetive teams in all 3 pro sports, and the Bucks won a championship. I'd love to get a Brewers WS win and the Packers back to the SB, but even the Badgers made 2 final fours, plus multiple hockey and volleyball successes. We have it pretty good IMO
