NEW: The cost of staffing the premier’s office under Doug Ford has more than doubled since 2019, according to salary disclosures, far outpacing his predecessor Kathleen Wynne.
Ford now has the most expensive Premier’s Office in provincial history.

Ontario is proposing to allow teachers without technological credentials to teach certain tech courses for the next school year, which teachers and principals suggest indicates the province is ill-prepared for the new mandatory nature of those classes. https://t.co/rTcs1NdDBA
Life Hack: If you're going to spend time thinking about the worst case scenario, you owe it to yourself to spend as much time thinking about the best case scenario.
It could change your life.
#DidYouKnow: More than 100 team-based #PrimaryCare proposals are still awaiting funding & hundreds of #NPs are eager to provide primary care to Ontarians.

Ford & his Conservatives think they don't owe the people of Ontario transparency for their sketchy backroom deals.
They’ve spent thousands of hours & taxpayer $$$ to keep these mandate letters secret.
With every step, he is making it obvious they have something to hide.
The Premier’s Office said they had nothing do with the colossal Greenbelt giveaway, and now they had nothing to do with handing Service Ontario outlets to Staples, so the question becomes, in the best case, what is it they do? Oh yeah, ruin Ontario Place and the Science Centre
I used to love President’s Choice products. They were brilliantly marketed as luxury for the little guy.
All the recent healthcare profiteering and general robber-baroning has really tainted their image.
My daughter is now at home recovering from yesterday's late afternoon appendectomy.
But her experience—of a system that isn't equipped to handle medical emergencies—was harrowing. This experience has been very impacting on her because she herself is expecting to join the nursing profession and she begins her post-secondary journey this September.
Here are her words on how her @ONThealth experience has impressed upon her. She's scared and second-guessing entering this essential, but beleaguered profession.
This impression is glim for all Ontarians—with the boomer generation moving into retirement we will need MORE healthcare professionals in the coming two decades than we've ever seen in this province. But her takeaway this morning after awaking from her nightmare: "I never want to set foot in an emergency room as a nurse now. [They are] helpless and I never want to have to watch people experience the same thing I did."
It's a shame that's her main takeaway because my daughter and I also met dozens of wonderful healthcare workers during our hospital experience. She would often tell her practitioners of her future ambitions and they'd often then explain what procedures they were doing and how it connected to her care. Once we made it out of the emergency department we faced an entirely different hospital: one that had the resources to actually care for her needs.
I'm an optimist at heart and I'm hopeful that positive change can come. I know that my daughter would love nothing more than to be part of transforming Ontario healthcare into a system that realizes its potential.
@farwell_WR reached out to me this morning and highlighted that the Minister of Health @SylviaJonesMPP will be in our city today for a media appearance. I am eager to hear Sylvia's thoughts on how we can make long-overdue changes in the Ontario healthcare system that make it a positive experience for all Ontarian patients and healthcare workers.

Doug Ford distracted us from the Ontario Place debacle with the Greenbelt scandal. Then he distracted us from that with the Science Centre boondoggle. Now he’s distracting us from all that with all the Service Ontario improprieties.
Doug Ford is clearly a political mastermind.
It's clear this new ServiceOntario scheme is more about selling printers for Staples than it is about actually improving services for Ontarians.

As the Conservatives give millions to Staples & Walmart in sole-sourced ServiceOntario contracts...
In the Premier's own words, sole-sourced contracts are all about the government “filling their buddies’ pockets full of money.”
He's saying the quiet part out loud.
