I love seeing students in the desks and hearing the clickity-clack on the keyboards! ⌨️ Freshmen are writing introduction letters so I can get to know them better—I’m struggling more than usual this year to match new faces with new names. #maskuptokeepschoolsopen
#backtoschool I’m looking forward to a good year—it may be different, but what will never change is the joy I feel from seeing students in my classroom! We’ll be ready for you all in a couple weeks!
You will all survive; we will all make it through the rest of the year! 👌🏻Please start checking your email if you haven’t already, and get used to checking Google Classroom as well. I will be posting messages there as my primary means of communication over the next several weeks!
Here are more health and wellness career infographics! I love seeing so many students interested in the health field—it is such an important field, especially during times like we are experiencing now! #drivestudentsuccess
Before we went on break, sophomores finished their Career Research Essays and the info graphic to go with it. I plan to share these over the next several days! First up: Financial Analyst by Johannesburg Andreasen, our foreign exchange student from Denmark. #drivestudentsuccess
Good morning guys! I created a classroom Instagram to stay connected on more of a personal level right now! Right now I’m posting daily story check-ins! You can follow me @breryan448! As always, I’m here for you if you need anything! I miss you all!
Hey guys—I created a classroom Instagram @breryan448 to share pieces of work, photos of lessons and information, inspirational messages, and now to just say “hello” and use social media while social distancing during this difficult time! I posted a story—go check it out!
We are indeed facing a serious health challenge that requires leadership, community understanding, and individual action. We can not allow ourselves to be distracted from our responsibility as citizens to support one another & to help keep each other safe.
I’ve always been a big advocate of teaching life skills through sports. My heart aches for all the kids who are having to sacrifice a state tournament (and possible state championship) experience.
Athletes, who are young and healthy and would likely get a mild version of virus, have been asked to sacrifice to help slow the spread to save the lives of the compromised population.
That’s what teammates do. They make sacrifices to make sure the bigger team thrives. #heroes ❤️
English I students designed Anti-Bullying posters after reading the fighting scene in Romeo and Juliet. It's important to remember that bullying is not simply physically hurting someone, but it can be verbal, emotional, or through cyber media as well. #saynotobullying
JUNIORS: As of right now, the Cookie Dough orders are on HOLD. Mr. Pfannenstiel will know by noon whether or not the roads are good enough for him to go pick it up. If he is not able to pick them up today, we will plan for tomorrow!
