🚨💣𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄: Mateus Fernandes has officially informed West Ham of his desire to leave this summer. He will definitely leave the club, confirmed.
Man Utd are currently the most concrete club in talks and want to “step up” negotiations, with the player expressing a serious desire to join Old Trafford. Man Utd board feel he’ll give total priority to them.
#MUFC have already held several meetings with the player’s representatives over the past 6 weeks, and 21yo has been approved as a target by Michael Carrick and the club’s transfer board including data team.
Further meetings between Man Utd and West Ham have been scheduled to discuss a potential transfer fee and financials, though club will only proceed if a deal can be agreed in the region of £50m–£60m overall package.
West Ham are understood to need to raise in excess of £100m following relegation and could be forced into significant player sales this summer. They value Fernandes at £80m but sources indicate that they will accept less than quoted price to suitors.
Man Utd are also eager to complete the signing of a second midfielder as soon as possible, with Fernandes viewed as a key target as of now.
Arsenal, PSG and other clubs have also registered interest but not yet held club-to-club talks or contact with player’s representatives. 🇵🇹
🚨 Luis Enrique wowed on how Manchester United broke Arsenal's low block:
🗣️ Henry:
“You kept pressing and pressing. Did it ever feel like Arsenal weren't going to concede?”
🗣️ Luis Enrique:
“We know Arsenal are one of the most organized teams in Europe. When they decide to defend deep, it becomes very difficult to create chances. Before this match, we studied Manchester United's 3-2 win against Arsenal because we wanted to understand what problems they created.
What we saw was a team brave enough to attack the spaces available and players with the quality to punish mistakes. The goals from Dorgu and Cunha showed that one moment of quality can completely change a game. So when Arsenal scored first against us, we remained calm because we had already seen an example of a team recovering from that situation.
That is why I think Manchester United will be very dangerous next season. If you can find solutions against a team as organized as Arsenal, you can compete against anybody.”
There’s a foul on todibo, mavropanos AND the West Ham goalie. But they rule it out for an arm across the goalie.
Fair play Arsenal it’s a huge result and guaranteed them the title but I don’t wanna hear winging about refs after that and the atleti game. They’re getting away with murder.
Harry, you’re a logical Arsenal fan and speak sense.
This happens every single game & nothing gets given, you guys are the best at it. 5 other ‘fouls’ going on in the box at the same time. It’s not clear and obvious and never enough to have a goal ruled out.
Also everyone seems to forget this…
It’s not just Arsenal trying to win the league, it’s also about West Ham’s survival.
That ridiculous decision has ramifications for both, and they’ve continued the trend of favouring the title contenders. It’s not right.
🚨 BREAKING:
Manchester United are today set to make a FORMAL COMPLAINT to refs’ body PGMO after they were controversially denied a second penalty in last night’s draw with Bournemouth.
United officials have been left FURIOUS at what they believe is ‘yet another VAR blunder’ which has cost their Champions League chasing side.

Can't believe I'm having ro explain why it's so bad wearing half & half scarves in the home end.
You are literally wearing city's colours and their fucking club crest around your body.
This is not okay.
🚨🚨🌕| NEW: Manchester United are known to be unhappy at the comments from Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt on their podcast, believing it was an attempt to mock Lisandro Martínez rather than offer any constructive analysis. [@RobDawsonESPN]
