Waiting for the reports bashing the Bengals first not having a backup solution at QB. Or that Burrow’s injury was some kind of karma. Or do people only make those idiotic statements about the Browns?
Fans don’t decide who to sign or who to trade away. They don’t decide who coordinators are or what plays are called. They just show up, buy merchandise, root and cheer w/ all they have and offer their undying loyalty.
For some fan bases, that’s just harder.
@sarathustraxo @ahugemanateee As a former news producer I can confirm that there is arts news. Now does it get clicks and views? Unfortunately not…I always tried to throw in a feel good story at the end of my newscasts though. We call them “kickers”
Finally got my old phone with the Audacy app charged up so I can listen to @KenCarmanShow on this victory Monday evening from Japan. I definitely woke up my neighbors when they missed that kick around 5:30 am.
@Kwen_C Has to be Christmas win against the Chargers to avoid going 0-16. I was in the stadium that night and it was like we won the Super Bowl. As a 30 year-old Browns fan it’s a bit sad that it’s one of my biggest memories of the team.
@BenAxelrod@KenCarman@SportsBoyTony I think a lot of it is that the Browns suddenly transformed into a hated franchise overnight with no real results to show for it so far. So now fans have this huge target on their back on top of all the past failures. The ridicule and criticism is reaching a boiling point.
