I just don’t get why Fender would do this. It just seems crazy. That aside, I agree with Rick’s take, almost completely. I bought a Strat back in about 2009. I wanted white/white/maple. I was going back and forth across town trying to find one that I liked. Now, mine is killer. One of the best necks I have. But there were were half a dozen others I played that were all varying degrees of crap. So the quality controls are indeed a real problem in my experience. Overall, a self inflicted injury…. Ricks prescription is probably the right one.
@the_bassplayer I gave up coffee about 6 months ago. Sometimes, first thing in the morning I stand there in there in the kitchen thinking.... now WTF and I supposed to do? :-)
@the_bassplayer Crowds are the best! Especially good ones. Reminded me of some lyrics...
"Tonight we’re playing for the bartenders
Sometimes you gotta rock an empty room"
From the Will Overman Band, Pilot Mountain. Great band and tune!
@RobVolatile@jeremyct This. I only wish my parents were still here to enjoy the lives my sisters and I have created for our families and for each other. My parents would’ve loved it.
@flushingitgolf@JDellabonna Yep. This seems so clearly cut and dry. Provisional hit, original ball OB: 2strokes. I mean, unsupervised junior golfers know this. How on earth did he not card himself the +2? And the officials are at best inept.
@flushingitgolf@JDellabonna So the correction they made is the right one. He played a provisional, boom, done. 2 strokes. What am I missing???
Seems that someone finding the OB ball is irrelevant.
