For many of these kids it was the first time they’ve ever been able to play basketball with their dad.
Moments like these are why we exist.

Volunteer Opportunity: Photographer/Videographer Needed
Join our ministry on February 7 to document a children's sports camp inside a prison, where kids are reunited with their incarcerated parents.
Help us preserve these powerful, hope-filled moments.
No post, no video, no testimonial comes close to the moment a dad sees his child running toward him after years apart.
That’s the heartbeat of everything we do: reconciliation, healing, and giving incarcerated fathers and their kids a safe place to rebuild what’s been broken.
Take me out to the ball game, take me out to… prison? YES! Nothing compares to playing softball in a prison yard during the summer.
Breakloose had the privilege of visiting 18 prisons and hosting 28 separate outreaches this summer.
In 2025, Breakloose Hosted 24 Basketball Outreaches in three states.
Michigan, Ohio, and South Carolina graciously opened their doors to our ministry basketball teams this year to not only play basketball but share the Gospel to over 2,600 inmates!

In 2026 we not only want to reconnect those behind bars to their Heavenly Father, but together we want to bring reconciliation between inmates and their children.

We’re absolutely pumped to announce our very first Kids’ Camp of 2026 at Pickaway Correctional Institution (OH) this February!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
We’re now open for volunteer sign-ups! If you’d like to serve, please email [email protected] to request your spot.
Imagine if we could break 💪 the cycle of absent fathers?
What if we could sow a spark 🌟 of hope?
What if we could create a day to ignite 💡 a strong bond between father and child?
What if we simply…took action?
That’s the heart of Kids Camp 🏀.
Join us.
Moments like these are what it’s all about.
We love hosting these basketball camps to bring families together and make memories.
Small moments often leave the most lasting impression.
Thank you to our volunteers who make it possible. These families are worth it!
What a day!
Our Michigan basketball team spent the day in Muskegon playing basketball and sharing the Love of Jesus.
The Word of God was preached and many men responded to the call.

We’re thrilled to announce our 2026 theme, “Rise from the Ashes,” reflecting our belief that everyone deserves a shot at redemption, beginning with the transformative name of Jesus!
We’d love for you to join the fun!
There are plenty of existing programs you can get involved in to bring stability to separated families.
You are one google search away from changing someones life through your resources and time.
Not interested in going to prison? That's fine! What about the people left behind? There is something for everyone.
Interested in going to prison? Check out our next trip in August at https://t.co/cvUEhL75Pc

Tomorrow, 22 children will spend a day with their father, experiencing a rare sense of normalcy.
While not their first time seeing him, it’s the first for most to play a sport together, running freely and sharing carefree moments.
We’re thrilled for tomorrow!
