I have mixed feelings about this. I was dead against changing the hash marks, and it really hasn't made that much difference. A generation ahead of me thought that blocking on kick returns was a travesty. The forward pass was too much for some when it happened. We will see...

The CFL is making a bold move to evolve the game with a set of changes centred upon entertainment and innovation.

Commissioner Stewart Johnston announced that changes will be instituted over the next two seasons through a phased approach. The most significant modifications will come in 2027 with goalposts being moved to the back of the end zone and the field being re-sized. In anticipation of these structural changes, beginning in 2026, the rouge will be modified and adjustments will be introduced to ensure more consistent game flow.

@1CFLAtt Big Molson bar under the East stands, thousands in the end zone bar, and many stand on the concourse at the top of the lower level (out of the weather). Lots of people never go to their seats - especially high school kids on Labour Day.
