@Macman12333@willie_lutz as an Avs fan, he’s gotta stay healthy. Broke out the year they won the cup and just plateaued, good player, on a decent contract, but he’s nothing more than a 2nd liner
@lebronzeja20491@HerzogIND@puckempire To be fair wedgewood getting a vote is no different than vladar or Thompson receiving a vote, I get the landedkog vote, but it’s also a 5th place vote. That’ll literally never affect any thing. And their top 3 were accurate, which is most important.
@_ChinChilva@LandysRKnee@MackForHart I mean PPG player this playoffs. You’d like him to shoot more and score more. But he absolutely was no where near the problem.
@TrueNorthAvs@evanrawal It’s absolutely not all on bednar. But I also think you have to look at the last 3-4 years. Haven’t really done anything since the cup. Continues to lose big playoff games. At some point it’s just time for a change
@goavsgo1995@jamesmerilatt Good coaches get fired all the time, sometimes there’s just nothing more you can do for a franchise. He came in, turned the Avs around, won a cup, but he’s fallen short now 4 straight years. It’s time for a new leader.
@AdoHernandez27 I mean how big of a leash does bednar get? He’s a great coach, but his time has come. The front office goes all in every year, and they get nothing in return.
@99Karl_@LucaCelebre21 No chance IMO. Wedgwood didn’t play bad, but that 1st goal was pretty soft, and you’d like a better rebound in that 3rd goal. Hart had a 2.3 GSAx, Wedgwood had -.40, pretty significant difference in numbers.
@citchmook I think this has showed he can perform in the playoffs, which is great, ideally he starts taking over games more, but overall I think it’s a solid showing.
