@ballondorkb9 @AppleSupport Sounds good. Keep an eye on it (check back in early December) and it'll give a good indicator if it's something going wrong or just normal usage.
@ladyjrobruns@AppleSupport Yes - it works w/ both versions of MacBook Pro:
- 13" w/ M2 chip
- 14" or 16" w/ M1 chip but newer design
If you are buying 14" or 16", wait another month b/c they will be updated soon, likely in November
I'd wait for the November updates then decide: https://t.co/r2bWeG8xfk
@uribuzzed @SaraIntikhab next week iOS 16.1 should be ready to roll and good to update. won't be perfect but time to make the jump for all the other features!
@AppleSupport@OptimistAfrikan Assuming your battery health is bad, given the device age, simple $49 USD to get the battery swapped may be worth it
https://t.co/vlCgGW3HNf
@amour___nisha Annoying bugs - some of the updates next week will help (iOS 16.1), and more down the road
A couple other things:
1 - check battery health. Settings > Battery. Tap Battery Health. What is it?
2 - some good tips and tricks here https://t.co/AZRj9gRFGY
@BisolaOtun It's pretty slick. New screen tech and updated chip. Plus, the battery is improved overall. Now, turning it off will HELP battery, but it's nice to have on!
@Mechellee__ LOL
Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement
Press the +
For phrase and shortcut, type in your desired word. Press Save.
Good to go.
@AppleSupport @ballondorkb9 1. That is just timing. iOS is not dropping battery health.
2. Rule of thumb, you lose 1% a month. So if you are down to 90% in the next 6 weeks, then there's a problem.
3. MagSafe chargers are known to kill battery health, so if you're using one, don't use it nightly.
@AppleSupport@onurgozupek If cellular data is off, cellular data is off. It's not using any of your data. If you're getting notifications, some apps are sending them directly from the device (e.g., based on the time of day). Track it: Settings > Cellular > Current Period Roaming (Reset Stats first)
@AppleSupport @NomadicPratik Two things:
1) Yes, lots of reports of iOS 16 hurting battery life. 16.1 next week may help, but some just bugs that will get fixed.
2) Settings > Battery. Tap Battery Health. That can help us narrow it down too. What's your %?
And, a good checklist:

@Mj01nir@AppleSupport If you go through the order flow on https://t.co/SHWyjqgKEH, it'll show the delivery date (depending on your specs). Right now, most are looking like they'll arrive on 10/26 to your house or for pickup at a store.
@Jazzzi_____@RyanTrickle On your iPhone, go to Settings > Notifications, and there is a spot that says "Announce Notifications" - just turn that off.
@AppleSupport@krutonsking Took us years to get the ability to undo send / edit messages. iMessage is up for a big redesign next year, so hopefully this comes. Agree it is a SUPER necessary feature...

@AppleSupport@DINESH_GUBBALA7 What do you mean not charging properly? Can you share a bit more. Apple's article is if it's not charging, but not sure what you are seeing?
@AppleSupport@VictoriasWorlds Here are Apple's instructions to buy tones: https://t.co/cy0wW9RVy3
If you bought a tone, it's a bug we can fix. If you bought a song, it will not work w/out some extra unofficial steps.
@AppleSupport@VictoriasWorlds Just to clarify - did you buy a ringtone or buy the song? If you bought the song, you have to do some manual work to make it a "tone." There is also a "tone" section of the store where you can buy ringtones directly. Happy to help!
