RTÉ is trying to obscure the reality that 38% of TV licences are not being paid and there is an enormous boycott campaign underway across Ireland.

This woman is right to be angry.

She is right that the Ukrainian who was given housing, generous social payments and benefits that included putting her daughter through Trinity was given extraordinary privileges over the native Irish...but it's important to put the blame where it belongs - on Fine Gael and Fianna Fail's shoulders.

Now that the government is beginning to realise its handling of international protection (and broader legal mass immigration) over the past decade was negligent, they will be more than happy for people to point the finger of blame elsewhere. This is the tried and tested FF/G routine - always deflect blame.

Many Ukrainians are scammers. Many came to Ireland because they shopped around and saw it had the best benefits - they do not get a pass - but it is the government who is ultimately responsible for ensuring Irish people do not get scammed. It is the government who is meant to put its own people first and protect their interests.

FF/G need to be held to account. They have sold Irish people out at every turn for decades and when sensible people warned them of the chaos they were fomenting, they labelled them 'far right'.

No negotiations, no 150th chance, FF/G have to go for Ireland to survive as a nation.
